About me:
August 2008 - Present: Ghost of a Chance (7th Sea) - A nautically themed play-by-post campaign based on a pirate barque known as the Argent Sale. Still in the introductory phase. July 2006 - May 2008: A Star to Sail Her By (7th Sea) - A protracted globe-trotting campaign involving more than 25 players! It focused on three half-siblings, all granted an unnatural command of Bargainer Sorceries through extensive exposure to Blood Alchemy from an early age. The purpose: to create three Sorcerers capable of acquiring three unattainable master artefacts of the Bargainers. Once put together, these three items would provide the answer to the riddles of the Syrneth ruins beneath Charouse. This game included the published 'Erebus Cross' and 'Hammer and Tongs' adventures. Early 2006: Shadows of Fate (7th Sea) - An aborted campaign set in Avalon. It involved one of Los Vagos hunting down Avalon's famous Highwayman, a Fate Witch running from her past (surprise), and an unknowing scion of the Bianco family trying to find the cure for his terrible luck. Late 2005: God Save L'Empereur (7th Sea) - The Montaigne bishop of occupied Castille brokering his influence in return for a Cardinal's hat; a displaced Sea Dog with his mind set on revenge; a young Castillian fencer set up as the patsy for an imminent assassination attempt on the monarch of Montaigne, and the cursed Vodacce tradesmen fated to prevent it. This was my first 7th Sea campaign, and probably still my favorite. Early 2005: Unnamed (D&D) - My first-ever campaign featuring Roc-Thaur the charismatic half-orc, Andrei Drogosovich the sinister Vampire, Grolchik the mass-murdering hyena, and the Masked Awful. Oh, and a party of PC's. Early 2005 - Present: A million and one mini-campaigns, one-shots, aborted games and shouting matches. Including D&D, 7th Sea, Call of Cthulhu, and Star Wars D20. My GM Motto: Self-improvement is The Key. You are never a good GM, only a better GM than you were last week!

Top Ten Favorite Characters: 10. Johnathon Briggs: A no-nonsense private-eye with an affinity for Humphrey Bogart style, and '40s nostalgia. Totally shot a zombie in the head. The only Call of Cthulhu monster slain in the Entire Game! 9. Ian Forma/Tondra/Chalco: My economic-espionage inclined Human Noble in the first game I played with my current gaming group. Started off as the heir to a galactic corporation, and ended up a stylish secret-agent with a brief-case gun, an electro-shiv cane, and snazzy jump-boots! Was the origin of our usage of the term "Magical Adventure" wherein one PC goes off alone for an extraneous scene of Having Too Much Fun With An Item (my jump-boots). 8. S'Diiv: A Human Scoundrel who had no positive ability scores due to my worst stats roll-up for any D20 game, ever. He thought he was the greatest in the galaxy at everything. Ended up breaking the record in Star Wars or any other game for 'Times Stuffed in the Same Trashcan by the Same Irritated Door Guard in One Scene." Had no concept of honesty. 7. Juanito "el Jefe": A Small Castillian thief/kleptomaniac with a membership in Los Vagos. He stole everything and anything from anyone and everyone. He had no concept of honesty. 6. Miekus: A tiny kobold Rogue 1/Ranger 1/Bard 2 with below average in every ability score but Dexterity. Despite his crappy stats roll-up and his ridiculous multi-classing, he was the MVPC of an entire one-shot. He had no concept of honesty. 5. Foster Foxglove: An Australian student at Hogwart's (Yes, the geekiest thing I've ever done.) Had a penchant for potions, and no need for broomsticks. He preferred a souped-up z-type. Once erased everyone in the School's memory to help out an NPC buddy. Had no concept of honesty. 4. Cyrano "Swordfish" Rackham: The Avalon Pirate with no moral compass whatsoever. He was famous for double-crossing so many different people so many different times in one scene, that even I can't remember the specifics. All I remember is that he ended up on top. Always. He had no concept of honesty. 3. Fernando Esposito del Torres: The Castillian Fencer whose dearest ambition was to unite all Castillian fencing philosophy into one supreme style. He was going to accomplish this by becoming a Master of Aldana, Bonita, El Puñal Occulto, Gallegos, Gustavo, Soldano, Torres, and Zepeda, and then by creating his own style combining them all called Esposito. 2. Richaud de'Montalban: The Castillian Fencer who walked the fine line between genius and madness. Most people who met him would bet on madness. He was in love with Dmitri Aleksov's hot twin sister. Hunted for an ancestral sword for a while, got killed a couple of times in different ways in different campaigns (He showed up or was mentioned in maybe six or seven different campaigns, though I only played him twice). Actually originated as an epic-level Fighter/Rogue/Duelist in a D&D two-shot. 1. Dmitri Aleksov: The Fhideli Acrobat/Con Artiste with no concept of honesty. Was professionally known as the dashing highwayman, robber, and hero The Red Fox. Had a hot twin sister. Had made enemies of Val Mokk, The King of the Cats, and Matushka...all before the game even started. Also, he held up an entire ball at gunpoint in Paix. My Player Motto: "Take what you can; give nothing back!"
